Concept Boards
After the initial call to review client needs, time frame, budget, + style, we will create concept or mood board(s) for discussion. These boards serve to define the style and aesthetic of the project consistent with the goals and expectations. Refining a project's style and feel before creating furniture layouts and sourcing avoids frustration and fosters clear and concise communication. It is the art of turning an idea into reality.
2D + 3D Space Plans
Successful concept boards will define and confirm the mood or aesthetic goals of the project and 2D space plans will provide an accurate visualization of the flow of the space by laying out the furnishings, fixtures, + architectural details with attention to the dimensions and scale. Upon approval of the layout of the floor plan, research and sourcing will be refined, enabling the development of 3D or rendered space plans. Theses plans can be viewed from multiple angles in a 360-degree virtual tour. Incorporating color palettes, simulated textures and finishes, in a scaled, virtual plan fosters confidence in the selections as brings us to the purchasing phase of the residential interior design project.
Sourcing, Budgeting, + Purchasing
Sourcing furnishings from our vendor library of online, retail, designer showrooms, and artisans will depend on the budget and timeline of your project. The items included in the 3D space plans will generate a concise itemized list and budget for the project. Should you decide to purchase the items personally, shoppable links will be provided, or we will purchase and ship items with the client's approval.
